Only the beginning

sorry i havent been on here for ages!!!
I say this is only the beginning because this hunt ban will be overturned wether the league like it or not! They know nothing about animal welfare and to prove my point today on the news there was talk of a badger cull. The idea of this badger cull is to limit the spreading of a disease called TB so in the long run it will ease the suffering for the badgers. In a minute we will have no country side or wildlife left if the anties have their way! And i'm not joking!!
The Quantock Staghounds meet on the 19th of Feb was really emotional and had me in tears. What really set me off was when Rick blew the horn to signal they were moving away from the meet and the hounds and horses were all excited, eager to get on with what they were born to do and then Rick blew for home as they were not hunting, the confusion for the hounds and horses must have been huge. As we had been talking to Gareth who is whip we were tthe first people to walk behind them and the hounds which was lovely but full of emotion. And as Enid so rightly said this is only the beginning and this ban will be overturned. Its just a matter of time, waiting and patience!
I spent all of today pining for Jas as he was 'snowed in'!!! The funny thing was he managed to get to Tiverton to do some shopping and to buy 2 bottles of port. Am i the only one who thinks he was skiving??!!!
Tomorrow is the point to point and i was supposed to be going but then my friend Mary King is coming down to do an eventing demonstration so i had to make a choice. I opted to see Mary as we are going to the pub afterwards for a meal which will be so cool cos i havent seen her in ages!! I can also sort out my work experiance with her as well as having a good gossip!!!
Scarlett and Chris are going really well and im really pleased for them both!! Especially seen as Chris got a mobile which means when we havent got a bloody clue whats going on out hunting we can give him a ring and get riding!!
Me and Jas are going good too. So far we have only had one arguement which is really just a joking arguement as he thinks the Devon and Somerset Staghounds are the best! Wake up love!!! The Quantock Staghounds totally rock!!!
